Froukje de Boer gebruikt gesloten systemen om haar omgeving beter te begrijpen en bouwt haar eigen ge\u00efsoleerde ruimtes om hier los van te staan. Als visueel kunstenaar maakt Froukje leefomgevingen voor objecten. Op basis van verschillende systemen wordt een structuur aangelegd waarin een veilige omgeving voor materiaal kan ontstaan. Elk leefgebied functioneert als een ruimte waarin het materiaal onafhankelijk is en niet gebruikt kan worden door elementen van buitenaf. Hierover zegt de kunstenaar: \u201cMijn werk gaat niet om het delen van een belevenis, het draait om het beschermen van een ervaring\u201d<\/p>

Froukje de Boer heeft haar Bachelor in Fine Arts afgerond in 2019 (Institute of Arts Maastricht) en haar Master Visual Arts and Post-Contemporary Practice behaald in 2022 (MIVC, St.Joost Den Bosch).<\/p>
